"Venice Vibes" by Joshua Mendoza creates a narrative around the people and culture that reside in Venice Beach, California.  Known for its hipster and free-spirited culture, Venice Beach attracts millions of tourists and visitors every year to walk Venice's unique boardwalk. While strolling down the boardwalk from Marina del Rey to the Santa Monica Pier, unconventional shops cover the sides of the pathway, street performers draw the attention of the crowds, and murals radiate color throughout Venice.  However, many visitors fail to realize that Venice Beach is a true community of store owners, street performers, and residents rather than a gathering of people; this community is emphasized in "Venice Vibes" as it explores the Venice Beach Boardwalk as a resident rather than a tourist.
